Lions Room 3-5 years

This room is situated on the secomd floor, the ratio is one member of stsff to 8 children with an NVQ level 3 or 1 member of staff to 13 children, with a QTS degree in Early Years Professional Foundation degree. We use a keyworker system.
We have many dislpay boards where the childrens own work is displayed.



We offer a wide range of activities with all boxes and equipment labelled to allow children to understand and be aware of resources.
we promote healthy eating and hygiene especially helping children with the knowledge and understanding of hand washing, before and after meal times.

We work alongside EYFS through play monitoring closely their skills and development, it is important that children have access outside daily and encourage this as much as possible to help promotecross motor skills etc.
